Boston Frisbee

Welcome to Boston Frisbee's new Business Frisbee Saturdays, formerly known as Cambridge/Somerville/Medford Frisbee. i.e., Boston Frisbee and Cambridge/Somerville/Medford Frisbee have merged! Join us for business level frisbee (a.k.a., typical pick-up frisbee) where we'll play with stall counts, keep score, but have the same chill spirit of the game play with sidelines with priority subs. For those used to casual Sunday/Wednesday/Friday frisbee, feel free to join and level-up your game play.

Please RSVP! If we don't have at least 5v5. Specifically, 10 players signed up by Saturday [2 hours in advance], then we'll cancel the event.
Parking: There is some limited parking along the side of Donnelly Field, and then other meters nearby
Attire: Bring a light and a dark. Dress for the weather & bring your own water
We welcome all players of all skill levels!
Again, it would be greatly appreciated if you RSVP at least 24hrs+ in advance.

Game Plan:

• 1 PM - Warm up, stretch, and practice. Overview rules and divide into teams.
• 1:15 PM - The game starts.
• 3:00 PM - Conclude meetup.

• BF business is all-inclusive as is the culture of ultimate frisbee
• Styles: All-inclusive CASUAL (S,W,F), Standard BUSINESS (Sat)
• Regardless of style, safe play is priority (e.g., avoid cutting off or picking others' paths), with a fun positive spirit.

1. Fun: Don't get eliminated from our Ultimate Frisbee Fun Royale!
2. Cancellation: There will be a cancellation (Red light) if there aren't at least 12 RSVPs by 12p (an hour before game time). If there's 12+, then game on (Green light)! Who are we kidding though? Game on!
3. Media-Sharing: We need to know who to share any photos/videos with.
4. Raffles: If we happen to have a raffle on special occasions, winners will be chosen from the RSVP list.

• 1:10 - Overview of the rules, safety, etc - then divide into teams
• 1:15 - Play!!!!!!
• 3:00 - Conclude the meetup

Playstyle:

• BF typically plays an all-inclusive form of ultimate, which has some modifications from typical standard ultimate. Some differences are no-stall counts, no score fun-to-fun, loose boundaries, sidelines have priorities, limit hucks/hammers*, and person to person defense (same skill or effort level, preferred). So take your time throwing the disc and have fun. Now, occasionally, if everyone happens to be very experienced or near the end of gameplay, we may switch to standard to level up our skills.

* Just buy us some pizzas if you choose to do this, which definitely includes others.
