O que melhor nos representa
It's book time! is a reading club for Brazilian and Portuguese-speaker designers that want to practice English by reading and discussing design books and articles.
We plan to have monthly discussions. Readings will be shared in advance, and the tickets will be released a week before the meeting.
Who are we?
A group of Brazilian designers that meet monthly(ish) to read and discuss articles about design, products and services.
What English level is expected?
All levels are welcome, and we are here to help each other. It's a safe environment for everyone! Usually, if you are somewhere at an intermediate level, you will probably get the best from the group, but you can attend and only listen if you feel more comfortable. If you have any questions regarding this point, contact us :)
How do the meet-ups work?
We schedule the conversations some weeks before to share the reading suggestion and date.
One week before the meet-up, we open the RSVP, and if you want to attend that specific session, you only need to say "Yes" on the RSVP system. If you cannot participate anymore, we gently ask you to change the RSVP to "No". Doing this frees your spot to another person on the waiting list.
Why do we open the RSVP only one week before?
Because life happens! :D We understand that if we open the RSVP too early, the higher the chances of forgetting about the meet-up or having other stuff to do.
And what the hell is RSVP? (the question that does not want to die!)
I will copy/paste the definition from the website The Spruce:
The term "RSVP" comes from the French expression répondez s'il vous plaît, meaning "please respond." If RSVP is written on an invitation, it means the host has requested that the guest respond to say if they plan to attend the party.
So, basically, RSVP on Meet-up means that you can answer "Yes" if you want to attend one of our meetings. Doing this will save your spot and allow you to receive the information for our online gathering.
And if you have any questions about our group, contact us!

Ver todos- Do AI Products Even Need Navigation?Link visível para participantes
We invite you to delve into Andrew Sims’ thought-provoking article, “Do AI Products Even Need Navigation?” It challenges our conventional assumptions about user interfaces by questioning whether traditional navigation structures are still necessary in AI-driven products.
As AI systems become increasingly capable of anticipating user needs, could the familiar patterns of menus, tabs, and flows become obsolete? Are we on the verge of a paradigm shift, one where interfaces are generated on-the-fly in response to user intent, making static navigation a thing of the past?
