PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R.
The PyDataย Code of Conductย governs this meetup. ๐ Location: Cambridge Center Roof Garden at Kendall Center, 50 Broadway, Cambridge, MAWe know we usually meet at Moderna for tech talks โ this one is different! PyData Boston is teaming up with PyLadies Boston and Boston Python for a relaxed evening of community and conversation on one of Cambridge's best outdoor spots. Whether you're a longtime member or have never made it to a meetup before, come hang out and enjoy the summer weather.
Logistics:
- No talks, no agenda โ just socializing!
- This event is not sponsored, so please bring your own food and drinks. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Kendall Square if you want to grab something beforehand or after.
- Your organizer will bring homemade baked goods to share ๐ช
- If you have a Python-related shirt, wear it โ it'll help people find us!
