Trails and Ales

Let’s do the Red (partly), Gold and Purple trail loops at Philip S Miller Park. Distance is ~4.1 mi.

If you tap the event address, your maps app should take you right to the trailhead.

As you drive in, stay to the left on the main road, following it as it curves around the left side of the large building. You’ll pass the incline on your left. Go to the far west end of the south parking lot, by the zipline office and towers.

If you end up at the amphitheater, you’re at the wrong place. Drive around to the south side of the park.

If you are unfamiliar with the park, please give yourself extra time to navigate.

Please RSVP only if you intend to come. If your plans change, please update your RSVP in a timely manner so that someone on the waitlist can join. Cancellation policy is by the day prior to the event. Day-of drop for unforeseen circumstances is understood. Life happens.

If you are on the waitlist, please do not show up anyway, hoping a spot opens up. It’s not fair to others and goes against the spirit of things. I’m keeping the group size small because of the narrow trails and to minimize the impact to other trail users.

Afterwards, we’ll head over to SliceWorks to enjoy food & beverages and good conversation.

Join Maggie for her weekly hike at the Bluffs. We go to Clock Tower Grill afterward for a bite too eat. Great food and great prices. Happy hour until 700pm. We sit on the dog friendly patio.Feel free to bring your pup. I changed the time to 5:15 to give everyone time to get there. There are 8 spots to start but we add people and usually have 12 or so. We save a couple spots for dog owners and Maggie's friends.

Boulder Mesa Trail Loop hike -- is a good balance of distance and elevation - long enough for Camino walk and enough elevation gain for Norway hike. Join me for this awesome hike.
Highlights include stunning beauty, amazing vistas, and abundant wildflowers. Challenges noted are steep terrain.
