From Junior to Judgment: Developing Product Thinkers in the Age of AI

From Junior to Judgment: Developing Product Thinkers in the Age of AI

SIXT at ART's Building, Art's Business & Hotel Centre, Av. Dom João II 49, 1990-019 Lisboa, Lisboa, PT

AI is accelerating execution across product teams.
Ideas are cheaper to test. Prototypes are faster to build. Delivery is no longer the bottleneck.
And yet, many teams are not getting better outcomes.
Why?
Because while execution speeds up, judgment doesn’t.

We are entering a new reality:
👉 Junior PMs and designers can now produce more than ever before
👉 But without strong judgment, they risk producing the wrong things faster

This problem is an org leadership responsibility.

This edition of UXDX Lisbon Community brings together two product leaders to explore a critical question:
How do we develop product thinkers, not just executors, in an AI-shaped world?
We’ll go beyond tools and tactics, and focus on what actually scales:

  • How to build judgment early in PMs and designers and why the teams that learn to cultivate it deliberately will outperform those that simply delegate more to AI.
  • How to teach juniors to navigate ambiguity, not just follow instructions.
  • How to create environments where learning happens through thinking, not just doing.

The teams that win will be the ones who can make better decisions, together.
And that starts with how we grow our people.
