Thanks to all of you that came out early to the annual Reggae Festival at the Carter Barron, last Friday, (June 19th) to support the band.   I didn't get a chance to speak to those that made it to the back entrance way, I spent most of my time announcing the acts.  If you get a chance to stop by O'Shaughnessys in Old Town, Alexandria, tonite, I'll be available all nite--Come early, free before 10:00-- 2 Bars and pool tables on the upper level--check out the attached flyer.

BARBECUE BATTLE

Don't forget to check out the Barbecue Battle this weekend--Saturday, June 27th and Sunday June 28th on Pennsylvania Avenue between 9th and 14th Streets.  Saturday the hours are from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm and on Sunday 11:00 am to 7:30 pm.  General admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for ages 6-12.  Children under 5 are free.  Also, check out the schedule on the website, Chuck Brown will be performing!!  See you there!!!  www.bbqdc.com
