Fairytale Waterfall & Cave

Let’s get away from Bangkok and relax in the waterfall! This will be a picnic style lunch, short and easy hike (see the distance and hiking difficulty below)

Once we reach the waterfall, we will spend some time enjoying the natural, appreciated view of the waterfall, swimming, eat lunch (picnic style) or even read your favorite book

(We can swim, the water is cold, don't forget your goggles.)

About this Waterfall
Pha Nam Yod Waterfall is one of the hidden gem waterfall located in the other end of Kaeng Krachan National park. This waterfall itself isn't well-known to Thais, but its beautiful scenery was fit into the description of what could the Thai traditional fairy tales’s cosmology be. In 2009, this waterfall was selected as a location to shoot this commercial.

Itinerary

8.00: Our Minivan leaves from Bangkok

11.00: Arrive at the waterfall entrance, get change and start walking to the waterfall
• Change into swim clothes (bathing suites or t-shirt and shorts are ok) before going inside the waterfall
• Walk to the waterfall from the entrance is around 1.5 km, the total distance is 3 km. We plan to spend 3 hours on the trail, including the swimming time.

14.00: Return to the van, change into dry clothes and leave to visit Khao Yoi caves

15.30: Arrive at Khao Yoi Cave, have a quick visit to the cave

16.30: Return to Bangkok

18.00-18.30: Arrive to Bangkok

*Note: please bring your clothes to change after the waterfall:)

How long does the hike take:
• Waterfall: Total of 3km from entrance to the waterfall and return. The trail is natural trail, around 30-40 minutes to walk (one way)
• Khao Yoi Cave: Short walking distance + staircase
