We are excited to be joined by Ilana Danzig of Aspect Structural Engineers and Rachel Himes of Mithun to discuss their recent work with Forterra in modular mass timber housing. Please join us September 9th to learn more and discuss! From the panelists:

"Today, some of the biggest challenges we face include the global housing crisis and climate change. Mithun and Aspect have partnered with Forterra, a local Pacific Northwest non-profit, to address those challenges by utilizing local, sustainable material and innovative construction technologies as a foundation for attainable housing models in Washington State. The volumetric modular and mass timber approach necessitates an understanding of the process; from harvesting of the material to the manufacturing process to site erection and construction. The modular prototype and Wadajir Multi-Family Housing in Tukwila, WA, along with the Darrington Wood Innovation Center in Snohomish County are projects that serve as part of this mission and require a highly integrated approach to design and delivery."
