The second NEO meetup will feature two presentations and Q&A plus networking afterwards:

1. Emigro and the Global Migration Consortium: An introduction to a NEO based ecosystem for migration by Blake Sieders

Emigro is a NEO blockchain protocol based software company that develops solutions for the global migration industry. There are web and mobile products for three major stakeholders; prospective migrants, immigration service providers, and employers of future immigrants.

Blake Sieders is a technologist, project manager, former immigration consultant, and now software company founder. He is passionate about empowering people who believe that moving to another country will provide a better quality of life for them and their families.

2. Bluzelle: An introduction to a NEO based application

Bluzelle is a decentralized database that makes it more efficient for blockchain products to manage their data while shifting control to the masses. Bluzelle combines the sharing economy with the token economy - renting individuals' computer storage space to earn tokens while dApp developers use tokens to have their dApp's data stored and managed.

Isabel Scroggin is a recent graduate, holding a Master's of Computer Science from Purdue as well as a Bachelor's of Computer Science and a Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman. In her studies, she has developed a wide breadth of knowledge and a deeper focus on algorithms, data structures, and parallel/distributed systems. Her professional experience includes ground support for NASA's Jason-3 satellite and two summers at Amazon: one working on vehicle routing and one digesting massive volumes of latency data to draw human insights about the performance of Amazon.com. As a graduate student, her research was on developing performant concurrent authenticated data structures.
