Что мы из себя представляем

Ukulele Friends is all about having fun while learning the ukulele and improving our playing skills. We welcome all skill levels from beginning to advanced and love sharing what we know about this fun little instrument. Playing the ukulele can relieve stress and bring communities together. It's also a past time that is wholesome and appropriate for any age.

Come join us for some laughs and music.

Travelling or Destination Songs

Онлайн-мероприятие

Aloha Ukulele Friends,

This weeks theme is about transportation or place we might someday go. Things are looking up and someday soon we may get to take our ukulele's on these modes of transportation or places (with our loved ones of course).

You are encouraged to suggest a song - just add it to the google spreadsheet - or suggest a song the day we play together. You don't have to lead the song; however, the song should be:
A) one from our regular repertoire and be available on the groups google drive, or
B) you should send the music for the song to me before the meetup.

You can also email me (Jim) [masked] with suggestions or questions.

OUR UFO complete library is here in two folders:

Here is the usual info about our virtual Meetups:

1. Use the zoom link further below to join the zoom meeting. If you download the zoom app onto your computer, tablet or phone (whichever device you use for the Meetup) you shouldn't need a login or password.

2. In this format one person leads the song, and everyone else mutes their microphones on the zoom app prior to the song starting. This is necessary because Zoom picks up the loudest sound, and if multiple people are un-muted, the sound becomes very garbled.

3. Depending on your platform, iPad, PC, Mac, ChromeBook etc., there may be a way to set your audio to 'original sound'. We'd recommend this, if you can, as the ukulele has a tendency to sound tinny otherwise.

4. In the song list, there is a spreadsheet listing the songs and song leaders. There are usually open slots for leaders, so if you'd like to lead a song, you are welcome to message me back and let me know which song you'd like to lead, or just let us know at the start of the meetup.

SONG LEADER LIST:
You can add your name as a song leader by clicking on the link below, and typing your name in the Song Leader column. You can also add a song to the list. If you would rather not try, send Scott, Bryan, or Jim the songs you would like to lead:
