Relaxed Sunday afternoon hike to Britzer Baumblüte (10-15 km)

This will be a rather relaxed hike through suburban area in the south-east of Berlin. We will come across the Müllberg (SkyPoint) with a nice view of the surroundings, the Hufeisensiedlung (UNESCO world heritage) and the Britzer Baumblüte fair, where you can ride a carousel or eat overpriced sweets. If you still haven't got enough after that, you can join me on the last 5 kilometers through garden allotments to Tempelhofer Hafen.

How to get there

• Take the U7 to Rudow, arrival 14:03.
• The meeting point is on the underground platform.

For latecomers

• There are some public transport options alongside our track, i.e. Leghornweg (after 1.5 km), Am Rudower Waldrand (after 3 km) and Lipschitzallee (after 6 km).
• Consequently, you can join us later or cut the route short.

You may want to bring

• A suitable ticket (Berlin AB or Deutschlandticket)
• Sun protection
• Something to eat and drink
• Some cash for the fair
