I've been doing this work for a long time, as a therapist, a coach, and someone who's done a lot of his own healing.
And if I had to distill the most important things for healing, I would break it down into two: self-awareness and self-compassion.
Not because they're trendy, but because they truly make a difference. Every person I've worked with who made real, lasting progress got there by developing these two skills. Every person who stayed stuck was missing at least one of them.
Self-awareness is the ability to catch yourself in the middle of your own patterns, not in hindsight, not in therapy, but in the moment when it actually matters.
Self-compassion is what makes awareness possible without it destroying you. Because looking honestly at yourself is hard. You need to be able to do it without turning it into another reason to feel bad about yourself.
In this workshop, we'll dig into both, what they actually are, why they're harder than they sound, and how to start building them in your real life.
