WELCOME CHRISTIAN SINGLES
Not into the bar scene but feel like you are too old for the "singles" and too single for the "marrieds?" This group is for those of us who would like to find others to have fun with who are in that same social situation. Whether you've been single again for two days or two decades, this group is for you. Those who are dealing with the stress of separation and want to find Christian fellowship are also welcome to join the Meetup group. Please note however that some of the events posted require that those who attend already be divorced or widowed. That can occur when the church or other organization that is putting on the event requires it, so it is not something under the control of our Meetup group. Those who have never married and are searching for Christian fellowship are certainly welcome to join us, as well.
So please join us and meet other local divorced, widowed, separated and never married single Christians of every denomination to socialize and make friends doing wholesome activities together.
Please be sure to read the ad for events that you are considering attending, as not every event includes people in all situations. So even though this Meetup group is inclusive, not every event can accomadate every member's circumstances. For example, The Triangle Singles Club events are for people over 40, some events may not include children, and some churches limit attendance to those who are widowed or divorced. But we hope there will be some events that fit your situation. We are thankful for each of our Assistant Organizers who have volunteered to share with the group and are generously and freely giving of their time to invite us to events.
If you are looking for other Christian Singles Meetup groups in the area, you might enjoy the Raleigh Area Christian Singles Social Meetup Group 30+ (www.meetup.com/RTP-Christian-Singles/). Also there are a number of large churches in the area that have great singles activities, including Hope Community Church, Providence Baptist, and Crossroads Fellowship so you may want to check out their web sites for event ideas. And for those who are concerned about our nation's need to return to Biblical principles, please join me at the Christian Party of North Carolina Meetup, https://www.meetup.com/Christian-Politics-Christian-Party-Wake-NC/.
Please check out our "Message Board" for Upcoming Christian Activities and our "About Us" page for Suggested Resources for those who are single again. All are welcome to our Meetup group.
If you are interested in posting an event (put on by your church, an organization you are in or one you organize yourself) please email this Meetup group's organizer, Kathy at [wakecpnc@hotmail.com](mailto:wakecpnc@hotmail.com) and ask to become an Assistant Organizer. Thank you.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Ps 33:12, KJV)
About the Freedom Shield Program
The Christian Party of America (CPA) at ChristianPartyofAmerica.com invites you to participate in its new Freedom Shield program. The goal of Freedom Shield is to build a network of local groups, as part of the “Christians Opposing Globalism” Initiative by the Christian Party of America. A local Freedom Shield group can be as small as two or three people, as scripture teaches us “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” Matthew 18: 20 (KJV). For more information, please see Freedom Shield Program (christianpartyofamerica.com)
To get involved with the Freedom Shield program, please attend one of our weekly, Freedom Shield Prayer Community calls or our monthly Nationwide Conference call. These meetings are led by our National Chairman, Clell Drumheller and are held on Thursday evenings at 8:30 pm EST/7:30 CST. The call-in number is 551-241-6870, and you do not need to be a member of the Christian Party of America to attend the calls or a Freedom Shield local meeting. The Freedom Shield Prayer Community Call is held jointly with the Christian Party of America monthly conference call held the second Thursday of the month. There are no calls on major holidays (July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, New Years Day). If you are interested in volunteering with the Christian Party of America please fill out and mail in the form posted on our website at Volunteer Membership Form (christianpartyofamerica.com)
Please look for our Freedom Shield Page on Facebook and like it. Thanks.
Below is a detailed description of the Freedom Shield program:- Purpose of local Freedom Shield groups: to bring constitutional and freedom-minded Christians together to glorify the Lord, while supporting each other and their community in protecting themselves from the effects of globalism. Resources about globalism can be found on the CPA website and social media sites.
- Suggested meeting protocol: (Frequency of meetings, weekly or monthly, and targeted attendees, i.e., whole families, teens and up, men only, women only is determined by each group. For legal and safety issues, all children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent at a Freedom Shield meetings). Open with prayer and Pledge of Allegiance, when possible. Groups can focus, based on interests of the members, on building Christian Fellowship for support, prayer and Bible study, educating the members and broader community on issues related to globalism, and community projects (School Board meetings, City Council meetings, outreach to pastors, etc.). Field trips are encouraged and can included educational events, survival supply stores, gun shops, gun shows, martial-arts training, vegetable gardening programs, and the Institute on the Constitution free Constitution course, etc. Members are encouraged to attend CPA conference calls, weekly national prayer meeting, and educational webinars offered by CPA. For example, Bob Burton, the NC Leadership Training Consultant, will provide leadership education webinars and Earl Grover, CPA National Board Member, will provide spiritual growth podcasts for Freedom Shield participants.
- Guidelines: The leader(s) of a Freedom Shield local group must have joined the Christian Party of America and signed the Full Member pledge. If willing, the leader(s) can have their contact information listed on the national Freedom Shield database on the website. Other members are encouraged to join the Christian Party of America. The local group can decide if non-Christians can visit the group with permission. The local groups cannot endorse any candidate registered or running on another political party’s ticket. To endorse a candidate, the local group must be connected to a Christian Party of America state affiliate that is registered with the State Board of Elections and has vetted the candidate.

Jonathan Heimbach, Youth’s Pastor
)
My name is Jonathan Heimbach. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and seek to bring the gospel to those I meet but particularly to children. I was born in DC but raised in Wake Forest, NC. I am a local and recently moved back to the area for work at a local architecture firm and a call to ministry at Ridgecrest Baptist Church as the children’s pastor. My wife Nikki and I have been blessed with three children: Malachi (6), Titus (5), and Anya (2). We are passionate about working with children and their parents. We have been involved in several areas of ministry through the years but God has called us to the children’s ministry in this season. Before moving back to the area in April of 2019, we lived in Guam for a few years as missionaries. This experience deepened our love and passion for sharing the gospel with the next generation. My wife, Nikki, and I are both graduates of Southeastern Baptist Seminary and love to use all of these experiences to serve God and the church. We look forward to serving you and your children as we grow together closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. And my answers to the two ever important childhood questions are, my favorite color is Ash Grey and my favorite number is 3.
Our family verse is “Whether, then you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NASB) We truly seek to live by this and teach our children to seek God’s glory.
