Let's meetup and celebrate autumn! Meetup time will be Saturday, October 10th from 10am to 2pm in the Seattle Japanese Garden.
The Japanese Garden is the south end of the Washington Park Arboretum.

Join us for Hatsumomiji (初紅葉) – the beloved tradition of appreciating nature’s art. During this time of year, each day brings out more colors to the Seattle Japanese Garden; creating a breathtaking view.

Maple & Garden Scavenger Hunts for kids
Family Saturday 10/10 - Origami in the Garden with P.A.P.E.R.
1:00pm Maple Tours: Offered Tuesday through Friday & 1st Saturday
*Self-guided maple tour brochures and the Scavenger Hunt sheet will be available at the gatehouse.
Admission to the Garden ends 45 minutes prior to the closing time (No admission after 4:15pm in the month of October).
Plan to arrive at least one hour prior to the closing time.
Tripods are not allowed in the Garden.
Suiting is not allowed. But ears and tails are ok.

Parking:
Very limited free parking is available for the public in several areas. Access lots at the Graham Visitors Center and the Japanese Garden. Because i have my bicycle with me, i’m going to park in UW’s Red Square garage (Central Parking Garage), which is free on weekends but a fifteen-minute bike ride away. Which is about a fifty minute walk.

At the gatehouse.
For this meetup, it’s more than ok to come later in the day if you want. I will try maintain a live active Google Maps GPS pin on myself throughout the day so you can easily find us!
The link for the GPS pin will be posted to both the meetup.com event page and Telegram before the start of the meetup.
