• Description of the Hike

• We'll meet outside the train station in Sitges at 09.00. We'll head up to the Mirador de Levantina to start the circular route. From here there are splendid views of the coastline of Sitges. We'll take the GR92 up into the Garraf. It's a bit of a steep climb but then we'll be in the forest so it should be cooler. We'll hike up to the 'Creu de Sant Isidre', which is a monument dedicated to the Saint for his piety towards the poor and animals. Again it's quite a steep climb up to the monument. The route then continues through the forest so it will be shady. We'll come out onto a wider path which will lead us to the GR5, taking us back down to Sitges train station. Again, the views below us of Sitges and the coastline as we descend the path, are quite impressive. We should be back at the train station at about 13.00, allowing for a short stop for snacks and drinks.
  Nos encontraremos fuera de la estación de tren de Sitges a las 09.00 horas. Subiremos al Mirador de Levantina para iniciar la ruta circular. Desde aquí hay unas espléndidas vistas del litoral de Sitges. Tomaremos el GR92 hasta el Garraf. Es una subida un poco empinada, pero luego estaremos en el bosque, por lo que debería hacer más fresco. Caminaremos hasta la 'Creu de Sant Isidre', que es un monumento dedicado al Santo por su piedad hacia los pobres y los animales. De nuevo, la subida hasta el monumento es bastante empinada. La ruta continúa luego por el bosque por lo que estará umbría. Saldremos a un camino más amplio que nos conducirá al GR5, bajando de nuevo a la estación de tren de Sitges. Una vez más, las vistas debajo de nosotros de Sitges y la costa a medida que descendemos por el camino son bastante impresionantes. Deberíamos estar de regreso en la estación de tren sobre las 13.00, permitiendo una breve parada para tomar algo.
