A Night of AI, BI, and Genies

Welcome to our May 2026 meeting! We'll be featuring the session "AI/BI Genie and Agent Bricks" and Connor Brown from Databricks will be our presenter. Connor has family local to the area so we're excited to host him - and we'll have some Databricks swag to give away as well!

Connor's session abstract: We'll explore some of Databricks' newest AI capabilities and what they mean for teams building on the platform. We'll start with AI/BI Genie, a conversational analytics interface that enables users to ask natural language questions directly against their data (no SQL knowledge required!). We'll also showcase Agent Bricks, Databricks' framework for building and deploying AI agents grounded in enterprise data. Come expecting demos of both features as well as an open forum to ask questions about the platform!
