We're having another Online West Chester Uke Jam on Wed from 6-7pm!

Remember to RSVP by clicking on "Attend online" in advance (even a few minutes) so you'll be able to see the link on the day of the jam. Once the jam starts, Meetup isn't allowing someone to RSVP and get the link immediately to avoid chances of disrupters joining the jam.

Once you've chosen to "Attend online" you'll be able to see the link to the right --------->

IMPORTANT: Make sure to click to "Attend online" an hour before we meet and I'll send you a message from Meetup with links and phone numbers.

You'll be in our waiting room and a moment later we'll let you in.

For this jam we'll use music from our WC Uke Jam Binder. In our Google Drive you'll see our binder & instructions on how to start using our online tools. You'll see the link after you RSVP.

I'll show the music when we're online and you can look at your computer or tablet to play along so there's no need to print it out. We're asking volunteers to lead a song & we'll take turns, similar to what we do in our physical jam. The audio doesn't work when we all play & sing together so when someone leads, I'll mute everyone but the leader so you only hear the leader as you sing & play along at home. Nobody has to be a perfect singer and it takes a bit of courage to try, so your job is to sing loudly at home!

You're very much welcome to lead a song. Anyone leading MUST have made the "Settings to Improve Music Audio" (see document in the binder link above) and have "Preserve Original Sound" on. Questions? Ask me (Charlot) ahead of time and I'll assist.

Look in the WC Uke Jam Binder, pre-select your song(s) & note the page number of the song (in red on the bottom right). That way you can tell the group the song and page. I can find the page quickly & share it for all to use when playing. If you're leading, it is a good idea to plan your lead-in or intro so we all get the rhythm, the note, and the strum. Have a great song that isn't in our binder - send it to me (Charlot) and I'll include it.

Stay well,
Your uke friends

Age range is adult: high school onward. We welcome all levels of ability in playing and singing. If you're just starting and have played 3 chords, you'll fit right in. If you're more advanced, you'll fit in too.
