Four Mile Run Trail - 35th Anniversary Hike (Rating: D)

Join us for a short hike around Glencarlyn Park. How nice to hike before we celebrate the 35th Anniversary of NVHC. Parking for this hike is in the neighborhood. Since it is close to the pavilion for the celebration, you will not need to move your car after the hike. The main event will follow the hike (12-2pm).

The Four Mile Run Trail is an almost 10 mile long paved trail that runs from Falls Church to The Mount Vernon Trail near National Airport, running parallel to the scenic Four Mile Run stream.

DISTANCE: Four miles, paved. We'll hike out and back on the Four Mile Run Trail from Glencarlyn Park to The Lucky Run Trail.

PACE: 2.5 mph

MEET: 9:45am at the connector trail to the W&OD/Four Mile Run Trails at South Columbus and South Park St. so we can get everyone checked in and begin promptly at 10am.
