Glencarlyn - Lubber Run - Bluemont - 35th Anniversary Hike (Rating: D)

HIKE: Join us for a short hike to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of NVHC. Starting and ending in Glen Carlyn Park, we will walk through the Arlington neighborhoods, beautiful Lubber Run Park, and Bluemont Junction Park, and we'll pass by the oldest home in Arlington: https://arlhist.org/ball-sellers-house/.

We will be back in time for the main festivities and the food and cake!

DISTANCE: 4.1 miles, mostly paved.

MEET: 9:45am in the parking lot outside the restrooms near Picnic Shelter #2 so we can get everyone checked in and begin at 10am.

PARKING: Please note - the parking area where we are meeting does not have space for us to park. You can park on the street along Third or Fourth Street, or in the parking lot near the Fourth Street entrance to the park, and then walk down the Third Street entrance. (See photo for parking map.)
