Parcel lockers are nowadays part of everyday life for many Finns. Posti has been global forerunner in utilizing parcel lockers and seems like Finns love them. Let’s recap the journey that Posti have had with Finnish parcel receivers.

IoT technology with parcel lockers: How Haltian applied IoT technology to parcel lockers and enable Posti to expand parcel locker network rapidly. Pertti Kujala, Innovation Director at Haltian.

Haltian Thingsee technology includes mesh-connected sensors, gateways with out-of-box global cellular connectivity, and a solution-as-a-service cloud, all under one solution. We’ll explore how this works and how Thingsee technology was applied to create novel parcel locker technology for Posti to expand parcel locker network. Expansion was exceptional in speed of scaling. This was made possible by strong pull from business side and supported by scalable technical solution.
