Welcome to **I WRITE**, a gentle space for anyone who wants to write—quietly, freely, and without judgement. We are a Berlin community of writers who gather together weekly to write, talk and recharge after a long week. Some of us journal, some write novels, some do academic writing, many people come without a project in mind and see where the inspiration flow takes them. This is a space to simply show up and write, a safe place to be yourself and to release all your layers onto the paper. There’s no set topic, no feedback circle, and no pressure. In diesem Kurs beschäftigen wir uns mit verschiedenen Texten aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen. Das können u.a. kurze Geschichten, Gedichte, Zeitungsartikel, Kolumnen oder Videos sein. Immer sind es Themen, die uns gefallen, die wir besonders interessant, wichtig oder manchmal auch richtig schlecht finden. Gemeinsam versuchen wir die Position der Autor*in, den Stil und die Argumentationsstruktur zu verstehen. Dazu diskutieren wir über das, was wir verstehen, welche Meinung wir zu dem Thema haben oder welche Fragen offen bleiben.
Gerne könnt ihr uns auch Themenvorschläge mitbringen oder zuschicken.
Der Kurs richtet sich an interessierte Menschen mit einem B2-Niveau (oder so ähnlich), die Lust haben sich weiter mit der deutschen Sprache zu beschäftigen und ihren Wortschatz zu erweitern.
Die Termine sind sporadisch.

Do you want to play football but don't want to pay? Are you a bit unfit, a bit old, or a bit Terrible? Want to have a relaxed kick about and a couple of beers after? Then Terrible Football is for you!
Anyone can play: any ability, any age, and any gender. Terrible Football is about miss kicked clearances, sweet half volleys and desperate diving saves. We play in the rain, sun or snow. It's completely free, and always will be. It's open, inclusive and Terrible.
We usually play on Astro (artificial grass) and sometimes on grass, depending on numbers. Bibs, balls, and cones are taken care of! Just bring sporty clothes and a pair of rubber studded football shoes you'll be good to go! You don't need shin pads and we don't allow hard plastic or metal studs.

Hallo Zusammen, bei trockenem und schönem Wetter können wir die Runde um den Müggelsee machen. Der Winter ist vorbei, Zeit, sich wieder auf die Kufen zu wagen. Beginn in S-Bahn Friedrichshagen, ca. 15:20, ich fahre ca. um 15:00 in Ostkreuz los. (Eis-)Bademöglichkeiten gibt es nach ca. 15 km am Strandbad oder nach ca. 9 km am kleinen Müggelsee. Getränke solltet Ihr in diesem Fall dabei haben. Ausstiegsmöglichkeiten gibt es nach ca. 15 km in Rahnsdorf oder bei Erkner - dann verpasst Ihr aber das beste Stück. Wenn wir über Köpenick zurückfahren, dann sparen wir und den Spreetunnel. Grundlegende Skate- und Bassibremskenntnisse werden erwartet. Jeder ist für seine eigene Sicherheit verantwortlich. Wer es nicht schafft - die Müggelseerunde ist eine der besten Berlins, ich plane sie noch öfters dieses Jahr.

Der Sprachklub bietet einen Raum, um Russisch in entspannter und freundlicher Atmosphäre zu sprechen. Die Treffen ermöglichen nicht nur, vorhandene Kenntnisse zu festigen, sondern auch den Wortschatz durch lebendige Gespräche und spannende Themen zu erweitern. Hier hat jeder die Möglichkeit, neue interessante Menschen kennenzulernen, eigene Erfahrungen zu teilen, und mehr über die russische Kultur zu erfahren. Die Feier des Tages der Kosmonauten wird in diesem Jahr besonders: Am 12. April jährt sich der erste bemannte Raumflug zum 65. Mal. Anlässlich dieses bedeutenden Ereignisses wird das bevorstehende Treffen des Sprachklubs Juri Gagarin gewidmet: seiner Heldentat und seiner Persönlichkeit. Darüber hinaus stehen moderne Kosmonauten und aktuelle Raumfahrtprogramme im Mittelpunkt. Die Teilnehmer werden darüber sprechen, vor welchen Herausforderungen diese außergewöhnlich spannende Profession steht und was ihre Vertreter antreibt. Die Gäste erwartet eine spannende Diskussion über aktuelle Weltraumforschung, den Platz des Menschen im Universum und die Perspektiven, die der Menschheit bei der Erforschung des Weltraums offenstehen.

Learning the local language is crucial to connect with the locals and developing a true friendship. This can be accomplished with immersion. The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience.
