Startup Social Kaunas #42: Vykintas Maknickas (Saily)

It’s time to get familiar with one of Lithuania’s bigger startup stories – Saily.

Startup Social Kaunas is a monthly meetup that has been bringing the community together for over three years 🤝 The goal? To inspire, connect and educate people about the startup world.

Everyone’s welcome – founders, service providers, investors or simply anyone curious about the Kaunas startup scene 👀

Saily CEO Vykintas Maknickas is joining us for a fireside chat to share the reality behind Saily – the eSIM app making it simple to stay connected around the world. This meetup is brought to you together with Unicorns Lithuania – Lithuania’s largest startup association 🫡

You might have heard about it on podcasts, seen it advertised at airports around the world or, honestly, pretty much everywhere else 👀 Saily went from a blank page to a live product in just 19 weeks, built by a founding team of only seven people. A little over a year later, it had scaled to millions of users, offering plans across 200+ destinations 💪

Come hear how it all started, how it developed, and about the wins – and possible fails – along the way. Plus, what does it actually look like when a new product is born inside another huge company like Nord Security?
