Also entsprechende Schuhe sind wichtig!!! Neugierig geworden?

Evening of Meditation - At home with your body
We invite you to join our weekly Evenings of Meditation, to gently meet yourself, dissolve stress and live life from beautiful inner states, like calm, joy and connection. These gatherings are not just about meditating on your own, but a step inward we take together. Each time we’ll look into a particular topic in the light of timeless wisdom, reflect on it in a guided meditation, do powerful Oneness practices for greater wellbeing, and experience Deeksha - which helps to speed up your inner growth. For more info see: [www.onenessberlin.com](http://www.onenessberlin.com/) **This week's topic: At home with your body** Can we experience beautiful inner states while being in a fight with our body? Please read them before attending an event. \#\# 💛 1\. Come as You Are This is a space for real people, not perfect ones. Whether you’re having a great week or a rough day, you’re welcome here. Just be yourself, no masks needed. \#\# 🗣️ 2\. Listen with Empathy When someone shares, listen with your full attention and an open heart. Avoid interrupting or offering unsolicited advice. Sometimes, the most powerful support is simply being present and listening. \#\#\# 🤝 3\. Respect Confidentiality What’s shared in the circle stays in the circle. Trust is the foundation of this group, please don’t repeat or post about anyone’s personal experiences outside of the meetup. \#\#\# 🧘 4\. No Judgment\, No Fixing Everyone’s experience is valid. This isn’t a space for therapy or debate, but for compassionate sharing. Let’s honor each person’s truth without trying to “fix” or analyze it. \#\#\# 🌍 5\. Diversity Is Our Strength We celebrate people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind will not be tolerated. Bring curiosity and kindness, we learn so much from each other’s perspectives. \#\#\# 🕊️ 6\. Honor the Flow Please arrive on time if you can, and stay as long as feels right. Our events are flexible, but being punctual helps maintain the shared rhythm and presence in the group. \#\#\# 📍 7\. Be Mindful of Space and Time Keep introductions and sharing brief so everyone has a chance to speak. If you’re speaking, take a breath, and make room for others. If you’re quiet, know that your presence still matters deeply. \#\#\# ☕ 8\. Kind Curiosity Over Critique It’s okay to disagree, that’s part of rich conversation. But let’s do so mindfully, with respect and empathy. Ask questions to understand, not to challenge. \#\#\# 🌸 9\. This Is a Shared Space\, Not Therapy Mindful Mingle is about community and connection, not a substitute for therapy or crisis support. If you’re struggling, please know you’re not alone and professional help is always encouraged. We’re here to listen and care, not to diagnose or treat. \#\#\# ✨ 10\. A Final Note Mindful Mingle is a living community, these guidelines grow with us. By showing up with kindness, honesty, and openness, you help create the safe, heartfelt atmosphere that makes this group special. Thank you for being part of it. 🌿

Monthly Book Club Meeting - May
Monthly Book Club Meeting - May
Dear Book Enthusiasts, For our May gathering, we’ll be reading ***Broken April*** by the Albanian writer **Ismail Kadare**. First published in 1978, this powerful novel is set in the remote highlands of northern Albania, where life is governed by the ancient Kanun — a strict code of customary law that regulates honor, hospitality, and blood feuds. The story follows a young man who has just committed a killing required by the code and now lives through the brief, suspended days before vengeance inevitably returns. Through this stark and poetic narrative, Kadare explores fate, tradition, violence, and the quiet tragedy of lives bound by inherited laws. 📅 Date & Time: 10.05.2026 at 15:00 📍 Location: Audrey coffee, Holzendorffstraße 18, 14057 Berlin 💬 Fee: As always, a 3 € contribution after the meeting helps cover organization costs I’m very much looking forward to discussing this haunting and thought-provoking novel with you — and to sharing another thoughtful afternoon together. Warmly, Sofya
Winetasting "It won´t get better"
Winetasting "It won´t get better"
**Book 1-4 seats by mail with your full name an mobile-number to [weinkueche@gmx.de!!!](http://weinkueche@gmx.de!!!/) No mail, no confirmed booking!** Over the years, we've collected more than 1.500 wines on our wine tours and stored them under optimal conditions. We particularly enjoy aging our more expensive premium wines for a longer period, as they only reveal their full potential after several years. "Baby killers" is the nickname given to wine drinkers who consume these premium wines far too young—a term that applies to almost all Grand Cru (Großes Gewächs) wines available in stores or restaurants. We want to open wines with you that have been allowed to mature and have reached their optimal drinking window (after 5-10 years). Unlike with young wines, you'll be able to say: **It doesn't get any better than this!** ... Just different... After this event, you'll also want to start cellaring your own wines, because the difference in taste will convince you! What´s the WeinKüche-Winetasting about? You and max. 14 other wine fans will be able to taste 10-12 different Wines with a full "Brotzeit" or small dishes in our private flat in Berlin-Mitte…. The best way to end a weekend! The event will be moderated in german and/or english.
From S Friedrichshagen to U Hönow (16 km; fast speed: 5.5 km/h)
From S Friedrichshagen to U Hönow (16 km; fast speed: 5.5 km/h)
During this hike, we’ll take a look at what has changed over the winter (in case you joined us on this hike last year on 3 October). As in autumn, we will meet at Friedrichshagen S-Bahn station (on the platform, east exit) and start the event with an ice cream from a famous ice cream place on Bölschestraße. Then we will hike through the Erpetal, across woods and fields, into the outer districts of Berlin (https://www.komoot.com/tour/2936165603). If you don't like ice cream, please arrive at the S-Bahn station Friedrichshagen at 13:30 am instead. We will pick you up at the corner of Fürstenwalder Damm and Dahlwitzer Landstraße. To the north-east of the station, there is an area with benches and a toilet. On Google Maps, the toilet is indicated as 'Berliner Toilette S-Bahn'. We will pick you up at this spot. If you need to contact other participants during the hike (for example, to find out where to meet us if you are running late), please use the Signal group link that I will send to all participants via private message three hours before the hike. This timing is intended to prevent non-participants from misusing the link for unwanted advertising, which has happened in the past. Signal allows us to share our locations during the hike without involuntarily forwarding this information to the intelligence services of authoritarian or non-authoritarian states, but unfortunately the location sharing function does not include tracking, i.e. no continuous updates. For all other purposes, especially socialising and posting photos, please use the Telegram subgroup 'Event Chat & Photos': https://t.me/addlist/KAOk2PA4BDE0ZTY8 . The hike will take place if at least 6 people sign up. As long as there are more than 6 people, you can sign up and cancel as many times as you like. If there are 6 or less people, please avoid cancelling, as this might make the other participants feel insecure about whether the hike will take place (or whether there is something wrong with the hike and they should cancel as well --> Matthew effect - Wikipedia). If there are less than 6 participants, the hike will also take place unless the majority of the participants are in favor of canceling the hike.
Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease. This walk is a simple reset. We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment. No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening. If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk. ✨ **What to expect (approx. 90 minutes):** * A short arrival and orientation * A guided silent walk (phones off, no conversation) * One concise science-based impulse on attention or stress * Optional reflection in pairs or small groups * A simple takeaway or experiment for daily life 🚶**Who this is for:** * Professionals, creatives, and people in transition. * People who feel mentally busy and want more clarity and balance. * Those curious about mindfulness, but grounded and practical. * Anyone comfortable with silence and gentle self observation. 🔔 **Practical notes:** * Duration: 60-90 minutes * Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing * No prior experience needed * Group size is limited to keep the space quiet and focused 🧭 **Facilitator:** My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction. 🤔 **Why Chitta Walks?** Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense. Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world. The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it. 🌿 **Possible effects:** A calmer nervous system. Clearer attention. A felt sense of being more present in your body. Subtle insights into how your mind reacts under everyday conditions. A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the city. **Come as you are. Walk. Notice. Leave with a little more space inside.**

CMG Gives Back: Serve Brunch at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details: IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve. Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to all of YOU for volunteering at this (and any of our previous) CMG Gives Back events! Should be another good/fun/meaningful time together, Dan

Choose Your Movie: THE SHEEP DETECTIVES vs HOKUM at Cinemark Stoneridge!
Join us as we get together to see your choice of two VERY different movies – one sweet and wholesome – the other a terrifying folklore horror! Option 1 is the fun whodunnit-action-comedy-mystery led by Hugh Jackman, THE SHEEP DETECTIVES! Option 2 is the top-reviewed supernatural-horror-thriller starring Adam Scott, HOKUM! Here’s a description, trailer and plan for this event: THE SHEEP DETECTIVES: Every night a shepherd reads aloud a murder mystery, pretending his sheep can understand. When he is found dead, the sheep realize at once that it was a murder and think they know everything about how to go about solving it. The film is directed by Kyle Balda and take a look at this ensemble cast: Hugh Jackman, Nicholas Braun, Molly Gordon, Hong Chau and Emma Thompson and the voices of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O'Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, Brett Goldstein and Rhys Darby. TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyZI5oM6hWk HOKUM: In this film, a horror writer visits an Irish inn to scatter his parents' ashes, unaware the property is said to be haunted by a witch. It is written/directed by Damian McCarthy stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh and Austin Amelio. Hokum premiered to rave reviews at this year’s SXSW Festival and is being release by Neon. It is earning a stellar 97% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which calls it, “A classic haunted house story enriched with atmospheric folklore and perfectly-timed shocks!” TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVCIK_MPyhc PLAN: For those seeing HOKUM, please purchase your ticket for the 7:00pm showing and meet inside the theater lobby at 6:50pm! Unknown Number: The High School Catfish
Unknown Number: The High School Catfish
IMPORTANT!!! THE DATE OF THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO SUNDAY MAY 17, 2026!!! A very unusual choice for his group... Unknown Number: High School Catfish is an American [true crime](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_crime "True crime") documentary film directed by [Skye Borgman](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skye_Borgman "Skye Borgman") and released to [streaming](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streaming_media "Streaming media") on [Netflix](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netflix "Netflix") on August 29, 2025. The documentary explores the events and investigation into an unknown person [cyberbully](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberbullying "Cyberbullying") and [harassing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harassment "Harassment") teenagers in [Beal City, Michigan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beal_City,_Michigan "Beal City, Michigan") using an unknown number via insults and sexual claims. It also explores the increasingly great impact of the harassment on the community, the eventual reveal of the culprit, and the trial that followed. IMPORTANT INFO: I strongly suggest not reading anything about it online before seeing it. It's best viewed with no previous knowledge. This documentary contains crude terminology and deals with cyberbullying, which may be a trigger for some folks. Please be ready to discuss the movie by 7PM. Thanks. Unfortunately, it is only available on Netflix. If you would like to attend but do not have Netflix, say so and maybe we can figure something out.
