Santa Monica Investor Meetup

Trading Blitz (tradingblitz.com) has stepped in to keep this group running. We will host discussions on fundamental and technical analysis, economics, and bring in some guest speakers. We will also organize trading tournaments on our free trading simulator for bragging rights (and possibly prizes). The simulator is free to use in case you want to start practicing ahead of our first competition. The simulator can be accessed via our website or mobile apps. Note: The website version has many more features.

History: The Santa Monica Investor Meetup Group was initially formed to learn and discuss the CAN SLIM investing style developed by William J O'Neil, founder of the Investor's Business Daily (IBD) newspaper. This group was sponsored by IBD until Dow Jones purchased IBD and eliminated its sponsorship.
