It is anti Semitic to blame Israel when any honest evaluation would tell you that both sides, in what is essentially a war, are to blame. If Hamas could, they would kill every Jew. That's what their charter says. So, there is no separation here between the political goal and the antisemitism. does the article espouse anti-semitic ideas or rhetoric? it seems to be about politics, war and human rights. as atheists and humanists, we should be free to discuss these difficult topics without recrimination from each other. I also seriously doubt that there are many jew killing atheists out there, though i don't have any numbers on that.

That being said, it might be useful for Gary H to post articles with more elucidation of his concerns. Ie: “hey guys, i was thinking about this thing, and here is an article that got me thinking.”

regarding the article, i think it's kind of an odd paradox that the preeminent humanist organization of the world is elbows deep in a centuries-old religious conflict. I wonder how many times in history they've been there to clean up after the broiling eruptions of religious fanatics?
