How else can you eliminate the problems in county, state and federal elections?  The libertarians do not get the respect they should, so should they try to affiliate with a party to gain support like the tea party.

Art T.: if this goes not get through, please post it for me.

the Libertarian party will not have qualified or even the best candidate in office.  It is time to challenge the straight party ticket voting!

I agree with Arthur.  I'm a 39 year old former Republican who was "briefed" about Libertarian principles by Ron Paul(a libertarian running as a republican).  So this year I decided to run for office as a Libertarian.  That doesn't make me some kind of imposter.  It makes me a Libertarian.  There are lots of me's out there now.  We are the 5%.  And hopefully growing.  I have already voted for Gary Johnson and gotten several others to do the same, straight ticket Libertarian this year.  I also agree with alot of what Dale is saying, but we all agree on too much to resort to disparaging our presidential candidate.

I am a 34 year old full time employed citizen and also a libertarian volunteer. I work on the state executive committee. I am running for Texas House in district 121 (on of those races with no democrat). I am an officer of the Bexar county libertarian party.

I have dined with Mr Johnson. I have spoken to him several times. While we can argue all day just how much a libertarian someone is, as a libertarian myself that has worked with the party and run as a libertarian, he is libertarian. He is far superior to any other person on the ballot when seeking libertarian principles.

If you want to support Republicans or Romney even then do so. But if the best you can do is trash other people because you have no argument to stand on then you do not understand principles. I put my time and money into the LP and how many of these people that claim to be libertarian do so? How much time have you spent supporting an LP candidate or giving money? Backup the principles or go back to half century old R vs D game that got us here.

I am a Libertarian and I stand with my fellow Libertarian candidate Mr Johnson.

NOBODY died in Iraq for the Constitution!!!!!!!!!!!!              in all these cases THE US government tried to shove OUR FREEDOM down their throat!!!!!!!!! to no avail!!!!!!!!!!!

They didn't even die for the "free flow of oil at market prices"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These arguments might have been more relevant for the Primary in the Republican Primary,,,, where hardly anybody, gave a dammmm about The Constitution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Romney and Obama sat for quite some time agreeing about "foreign policy" calling it a "debate"!!!!

This Johnson character is an imposter,,, a "real" Republican trying to gain some "personal somethingorother" I don't know what! He ran tot The Libertarian Party with a bundle of REPUBLICAN MONEY and won the nomination on that MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He had to be "briefed" on Libertarian principles and concepts,,, along, of course with CONSTITUTIONAL principles and concepts!!!!!!!!!!!!

VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE in the presidential,,,,, but there are a lot of Libertarians in races where there are NO DEMOCRATS!!! and there is where we need to show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, the main point is VOTE FOR A REAL Republcan, NOT an IMPOSTER Libertarian!!!!!!!!!!

Someday, Somehow, we will get a REAL LIBERTARIAN with money to run for PRESIDENT on the LIBERTARIAN ticket!!!!

No surprise.  Obama and Romney are both snakes that dont deserve the vote of any informed Americans.

I predicted he would wear an ear piece, so I looked for it, and saw it during the debate - you can fool some of the people (Dems) all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people (us)
