What we’re about
Alt games are an emerging art form that is difficult to define or contain within existing artistic structure. They are messy, new, strange, creative and not typically intended for commercial release. I would love to meet the other people in Vancouver who also love them, play and/or make some of them together and generally talk about what these games are doing and where they fit in our industry and culture.

We'd love to see you all again in a couple weeks for another alt g! This will be our last one using meetup dot com so please find your way to our discord if you want to keep in touch in the future!
This meetup will be a potluck kind of vibe! We encourage folks to bring whatever they want to share <3 this applies to demos/works-in-progress as well as food and drink as the venue is happy for us to BYOB but is not serving anything. Accessibility wise we are sorry to report that it is up a flight of stairs also; we will make sure our next event is more accessible.
Z Space has lots of spots to demo and even a projector if anyone is feeling speaker-y or has something to share on a big screen! We can make things happen spontaneously the day of or if you're a planner please get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
