GANG GANG TWANG 2 - Regional Ukulele Festival

Come and join us at our Second Gang Gang Twang

• Venue is Ainslie Arts Centre, Elouera Street Canberra City
• Doors open 9am
• Workshops in the morning, performances in the afternoon
• $5 entry includes printed program and sticker
• Tickets sold for workshops from 9am
• Concurrent one-hour workshops commencing 9.15am, 10.20am and 11.25am at $10 per person
• Headline act performers to deliver two of the workshops
• Workshop subjects include performance, Strumming for beginners and intermediate, songwriting, blues, slack key uke and PA setup
• Performances commence in Main Hall at 12.30pm
• Community bands perform throughout the afternoon
• Happy Hour bar from 4pm to 6pm
• Canberra Bubble Stage with performances, walk up mike performance room and singalong
• Commercial vendors selling ukulele and other musical goods in function room
• Coffee Cart and some food for sale
• Songbooks, bags and cups for sale in function room
• Collection of working order ukes and other instruments for children in remote and rural areas
• Raffle for ukuleles donated by music vendors
• Coffee and food cart
• Headline performance by Tyrone and Leslie as grand finale 6pm to 7pm
