About the Facilitator:
Nelson is a key figure in the Bangkok improv scene and has contributed significantly to fostering improvisational comedy in the region. He is involved in performing and organizing events that bring together international and local talent. Nelson is notably associated with the Bangkok International Improv Festival (BiiF), which he helps coordinate. This annual event attracts performers from all over the world and offers a mix of performances, workshops, and social activities across various venues in Bangkok.
He is also known for shows like "CO & NELSON, NELSON & CO," a comedic one hour long-form performance featuring audience-inspired stories that highlight his skill in duoprov—a two-person improv format. His shows often blend various styles, including influences from New York and Hollywood, and he engages audiences by creating unique, spontaneous narratives during each performance.
Nelson’s work reflects a commitment to cultivating a thriving improv community in Bangkok and connecting it with global networks. Whether you're an audience member or an aspiring improviser, his events are a great way to experience the art of improv firsthand.
