Join us for a relaxed morning boat ride through the historic canals of Thonburi, offering a peaceful glimpse into a slower, more traditional side of Bangkok.

Starting from Rajinee Pier near Sanam Chai MRT, we will cross to the Thonburi side and cruise gently along Bangkok Yai Canal and Bangkok Noi Canal. From the water, enjoy views of old wooden houses, temple backyards, and long-established canal communities, all from the comfort of a covered leisure boat (not long-tail boat)

This is a continuous boat ride with no stops along the way. Participants will remain seated throughout the journey, making this a calm and easy experience.

The ride will end at River City Pier around late morning. Those who wish may continue to enjoy lunch at one of the nearby restaurants. Lunch is optional and not part of the event.

Meetup : 9:30 am Sanam Chai MRT station (Exit 1)
Drop off: 11:30 am River City Bangkok (Si Phraya Pier)
Cost is 350 THB including our boat and our guide Noi . Lunch or drinks are not included.

To confirm your seat, please register via Meetup and transfer 350 THB to the bank account listed below within 48 hrs of signing up. Make sure to email your bank slip to goldenyearsbudget@gmail.com. Confirmation is based on payment received. No cash payment on that day is accepted. If you do not have a Thai bank account, you can do a cash despoit at any Bangkok Bank.

RSVP deadline: 20th January. No changes to RSVP status will be accepted after this date. Refunds will only be given if a replacement participant is found.
