Hike Phu Kradueng, one of the most known mountains in Thailand. To most Thai people, this mountain trail is considered as the first training ground for beginner hikers in Thailand. It’s offten used as a benchmark to compare with other trail. Eventhough, this trail isn’t as easy as you think.

The first hike to get us to campgroud is around ten KM with around one thousand meter of elevation gain (equal to climbing 330 floors). Once we get up to the campsite, we can also do the multiple treks, including sunset and sunrise. The approximate total distance covered during this three-day journey is 42 kilometers.

Overlooking Phu Kradueng is a big hill with a flat surface. We will make our way to the viewpoints, where you will get invaluable trekking experience and burn off a lot of energy.

Itinerary
*There are no plans to deviate from the plan unless there is an unforeseen situation

Day 0: Friday
8.50- 8.55: Van leaves from Bangkok. We will stay overnight in the van while commute to the entrance of Phukradueng National Park.

It’s around 7 hours drive and we expect to make stops during the ride, for restroom and safety checking.

Day 1: Saturday
6.00: Breakfast and get ready for the hike. You will be given a bag of lunch and water to go with you.
7.00: Start Hiking up to the peak the tail distance is around 9km (First Half 5.5 km, climbing with around 1,000m. Elevation gain/ Second Half 3.5 km) Total distance is around 9km, takes between 5-7 hours to get up to the peak & campsite
12.00: Lunch at one of the stop on the way up
15.00: Expect to reach the top.
17.00: Hike to the sunset spot (4km round trip)
19.00: Dinner and Enjoy the rest of the day

Day 2: Sunday
5.00: Hike to see sunrise, 2km to the sunrise spot (4km = total distance for round trip)
7.00: Back to the restaurant & Breakfast
8.00: Start hiking, today we are going to hike the viewpoint loop and watch sunset before returning to the campsite (Total distance is around 16km) *We bring water and lunch with us during the hike
* Bring enough snack/ water/ food to the hike
19.00 Dinner and back to the campsite

Day 3: Monday
6.00: Breakfast, then check out
7.00: Start hiking back to the entrance (9km back down, around 5 hr)
11.00: Arrive back to the entrance, shower and have lunch
12.00: Return back to Bangkok (7hours)/ Dinner on the way back
20.00: Dinner, back to the campsite and enjoy the rest of the day
