DOUBLE INDEMNITY, with Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck, Edward G. Robinson

Details
In this classic film noir, insurance salesman Walter Neff (Fred MacMurray) gets roped into a murderous scheme when he falls for the sensual Phyllis Dietrichson (Barbara Stanwyck), who is intent on killing her husband (Tom Powers) and living off the fraudulent accidental death claim. Prompted by the late Mr. Dietrichson's daughter, Lola (Jean Heather), insurance investigator Barton Keyes (Edward G. Robinson) looks into the case, and gradually begins to uncover the sinister truth.
Praised by many critics when first released, the film was nominated for seven Academy Awards. Widely regarded as a classic, it often is cited as having set the standard for film noir. Several publications have deemed it one of the greatest films of all time. Deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the U.S. Library of Congress in 1992, Double Indemnity was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.
About Venue
The Friese-Greene Club is a small, private member's club in Bangkok. It is dedicated to people who have a passion for cinema; filmmakers, film students, film journalists, or film enthusiasts. The club serves Thai and Western food, including pizzas, burgers and snacks. It has a reasonably-priced bar.
Schedule
The bar opens at 7:00 PM. Snacks and food are available. The movie showings are at 8:00 PM. The movies are free for members but non-members can try out this fantastic cinema for free for a while without being a member.
Seats
This is Bangkok's smallest cinema but it's my favorite. You could even say it has a "First Class" section (free). The Screening Room has the same type of plush seats used for regular seating by the Major Cineplex and SF Cinema City chains. The technical projection standards match the chains, with surround sound and HD projection.
There are nine (9) of these "First Class" seats and they may be booked (reserved seating) on the cinema's website. The rest of the seats are non-reserved.
Here is the link to book a reserved seat (by clicking on the appropriate date AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN):

The other two floors contain regular seats and large-screen TVs, which show the same movie as the Screening Room.
Film Discussion
After the movies, the attendees gather in the bar to discuss the showing. Because you will meet "regulars" there who are avid classic movie fans, you will find interesting discussions.
