The Art of Building Community in Chiang Mai
Details
# Fresh Start in Chiang Mai:
📅 Thursday, June 18
🕕 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Spice Garden
Many of us move to Chiang Mai in search of a better quality of life, new experiences, greater freedom, or a fresh start. Yet after the excitement of settling in, many discover that creating a meaningful life isn't just about where we live—it's also about who we share it with.
Building genuine friendships and a sense of belonging as adults can be challenging, especially in a new country. We may meet many people, yet still find ourselves longing for deeper connections and a stronger sense of community.
Join us for an evening of conversation, reflection, and connection as we explore The Art of Building Community in Chiang Mai.
Together, we'll discuss what community means, why belonging matters, and how we can intentionally create meaningful relationships that enrich our lives. Through guided exercises, interactive discussions, and shared experiences, we'll learn from one another and discover practical ways to build the kind of community we want to be part of.
This gathering is designed for expats, retirees, digital nomads, and newcomers who are looking for more than just social interaction—they are looking for friendship, belonging, and authentic connection.

### Important Information
🍽️ Although the event itself is free, participants are kindly required to order dinner to support our host venue, Spice Garden.
🔒 Confidentiality is important. We ask everyone to respect each other's privacy. What is shared within the group stays within the group.
🤝 This is not a therapy session, counseling session, or support group. It is a space for honest conversations, shared experiences, mutual learning, and meaningful connections.
There is no pressure to share. You are welcome to participate at whatever level feels comfortable for you.
Whether you've lived in Chiang Mai for a few weeks or many years, this gathering offers an opportunity to connect, reflect, and discover that meaningful community is not something we find—it is something we help create.
Because sometimes the first step toward belonging is becoming part of something larger than ourselves.
