The state of the honey bee - and how to help them

Over the last several years there has been consistent reporting in the media about the decline of the honeybee. An insect responsible for pollination of about 2/3 of the foods we eat. Einstein is reported to have said “If the bee disappeared off the face of the Earth, man would only have four years left to live.” Are bees about to become extinct and will humanity survive a catastrophe such as this?Is there anything we can do about it? Robert Owen is currently studying for a PhD in honeybee diseases at The University of Melbourne, Australia and has extensively researched this topic.
