Calgary Games Kiln: Game Announcement and Trailer Day

Since November 2025, the Calgary Games Kiln has supported five Calgary-based, early-stage game developers build market traction for their upcoming projects – and it’s all culminating to this special trailer and announcement event!
Join us on Monday, April 13th at 6:00pm at Platform Calgary (East Annex) as our teams reveal their announcement trailers and demo their prototype builds! Come see what Calgary is capable of – innovative, highly stylized and addictive gameplay, even in its earliest stages.

The event is also an opportunity to hang out with fellow developers, students, hobbyists, and enthusiasts from the broader Calgary games community – network over pizza and try out some (exclusive) new games-in-the-making!

This session is part of the Calgary Games Kiln program, a proof-of-concept initiative powered by Calgary Economic Development. The incubator-style program currently supports five Calgary-based, early-stage game developers, with a focus on market validation and commercial viability. Importantly, the Kiln also aims to support the Calgary games ecosystem by way of plenary activities extended to non-program participants.
