Please remember that the event postings go out to 25 separate groups .
SO i don't always know how many people are attending !!!
WE will be heading to the Ukiah area to see & explore this amazing
hidden Reserve that also has the worlds 2nd tallest tree hiding in it !
We will carpool from the Petaluma Library jus off hwy 101. Its an hours drive from Santa Rosa to Ukiah. And another 20 minutes from Ukiah.
The trek is easy , as its hidden in an old volcano bowl.
************* Its super for amazing photos so much more. The famous monster redwood is hidden in plain sight ! But you will have to lay down to try & see to the top ! Plus so many more trees
& formations to see , climb & photo. Plus I can direct you to the most
unique features of the Reserve.
******** Note: if we have time , we may stop at a unique Hot Springs
nearby. There is so much more to describe this hidden paradise . Like the Vichy Springs waterfalls & other great Experiences there . I'll
have another visit there soon ! Plus we may also have a moment to see
the location of the City of a Thousand Buddhas !!
********OK ! Bring good hiking shoes , a jacket, & a lunch, I will have plenty of great snack food , water, energy drinks, and poles to use. We
will have our lunch when we get there. A perfect place & bathrooms.
Our easy slow trek will take about 3 hours to see & explore everything .

We will have our fun dinner option at a great location in Ukiah, following
the event .
***** So remember that a ( No show ) will get you dropped from the
meetup membership !
