A friendly, relaxed space to practice 2 languages being English/Thai by making day-to-day conversations...

This will also be helping to test and improve an innovative community translation app for Thai Language Strictly... Not Chinese, not Arabic..

Only Thai <--> English!

Human exchanges will have to comes first here in this MeetUp Group, this is a regular language exchange, same same kind you'll find anywhere.

**How It works? ..**Never joined one before, you're welcome to join!

Show up, meet new people, have real conversations, practice your English or Thai, and finish your day by speaking to someone new and hopefully some new words for your vocabulary.

Group plan is simple:
1. Join us
2. Chat in English and/or Thai

Practice using the community translation tool to confirm accuracy and improve your prononciation and/or the output given for revision.
^ Only reason why this group is different and friendly for beginners!

No stress, only real natural conversation + useful community based tool...
Use it more or use it less or don't use it at all.. It is only for reference.

Everyone's feedback is appreciated.
Live input from real conversations translations is how you can help our community project to be improving, one session at a time...

What to expect?

Small groups at cafes or co-working spots around Bangkok, mostly Sukhumvit area... but flexible depending on the group!

Translation tools are never forced and are completely optional.

Plenty of people come just to practice speaking (Thai → English and English → Thai) and that's totally fine.

No agenda, no presentations, no awkward icebreakers.
Just good conversations... or bad ones, who knows?

When a tricky word or phrase comes up, you'll see two translations side by side, one from Google Translate and one from the community revised app, so you can compare them in real context.
...It's a helpful reference, not the main objective.

**The translation app is completely free and open source, made in-house by one person with too much free-time.

Small, supportive, and fun, because real progress happens when people feel comfortable being themselves, no matter how bad they may sound... we're all here for the same reason anyways!
