Does a scientist with a good idea really see the light in a single moment? Usually not. Most good ideas or inventions only come about when you collaborate with lots of smart people.

Let's dive into some creative, professional, or personal ideas to explore. This is a casual open mic night where participants share a 5-minute personal story about an idea, a "Lightbulb Moment", that point in time when something unexpectedly clicks – like when the solution to a previously unsolvable problem jumps into your head. Or you see how things in your life link up in ways you’d never seen before. Or you realise that a question which seemed very complex is actually quite simple. We prioritize an open, relaxed, and non-judgmental atmosphere for sharing ideas, discussions and feedback.

Free to attend, but please buy a drink or snack to support the venue.

Agenda:
18:30 - 19:00 Welcome & Mingling.
19:00 - 20:30 Open mic storytelling.
20:30 - 22:00 Stay for the networking.

Final thoughts
Ever walk down a big city sidewalk and see all those little odd shaped, discolored circles spattered everywhere?
Those little nasty bits of uselessness are discarded chewing gum from all the passers by going about their day.
They pop the gum in at some point feeling excited at the burst of flavor, the new buoyant texture in their mouth, all the tastebuds and senses firing in a sweet fresh symphony.
Then the gum goes stale, flat, pathetic and pointless. The previously excited person gets disgusted and spits the rotten old gum to the ground and moves on.
That’s your great idea - old, used, useless chewing gum that everyone has and will continue to have for decades and centuries to come.
Ideas are as easy and exciting as a fresh stick of gum - the hard part is not spitting it out when it gets tough, hard to chew and flavorless.

Those are the people that get rich.
