What we’re about
Hi New Friends! This is a fun group generally in their 20s, 30s and 40s but anybody who wants to make new friends can join this group!
I am Harry, I have been living in the city (San Francisco) for the past decade and the SF Bay area for over a decade and a half. I consider myself local now and, I am always open to sharing what i know and learning something new about the city.
This group gives us a chance to meet some cool new people, do some fun activities, and make new friends! Let's meet, chat, hang out, and get to know each other.
We can meet for coffee/tea, urban walks, explore popular places, picnic in a park, brunch, drinks, wine bars, breweries, dinners, art galleries, craft fairs, paint nites, book swaps, ice skating, bowling, roller disco, beach, sunsets, or something else!
ANY COOL IDEAS... Get in touch with me if you want to host your event! I am open to any fun meetup event suggestions.
This group is not associated with any business or organization. It is created just for fun :-)

- Time for an Alameda Beer Crawl! ☀️😎 (Almanac, The Rake, Humble Sea)Almanac Beer Co., Alameda, CA
We're once again teaming up with the Hops Around the Bay beer meetup for an Alameda beer crawl! The weather is great and we'll be checking out Almanac Beer, The Rake at Admiral Maltings, and the new Humble Sea location right around the corner!
This is a casual event...the timings below are approximate to give a rough idea of where we'll be, and during the event we'll be posting updates in the comments, so feel free to join at any point you like! The three locations we're visiting are all within a couple of blocks of each other, so it should be easy to find us.
The Schedule
1:45pm - 3:45pm - Almanac Beer Co.
3:45pm - 5:15pm - The Rake at Admiral Maltings
5:15pm - 6:30pm - Humble Sea Brewing Alameda PointOptional 12:50pm Ferry from SF to Alameda:
For those coming from SF that want to take the 20-minute ferry ride, we'll be meeting earlier in front of Gate G at The Ferry Building at 12:40pm in order to catch the 12:50pm ferry to Alameda. That drops us off at the Main Street Alameda Ferry Terminal at 1:10pm, and from there it's a ~30-minute walk to Almanac. Payment for the ferry can be made using a Clipper card, or by buying a ticket inside the Ferry Building. The ferry is quite punctual, so make sure to get to Gate G on time!
Note: It'll also be the Saturday farmer's market at The Ferry Building, so there'll be some nice grab-and-go food options available too.Food:
Both Almanac and Humble Sea have food trucks, and The Rake has its own kitchen with things like sandwiches and barbecue on the menu.Note: This group is not associated with any business or organization. It is created just for fun and to meet new people - it is free and everybody is welcome! :)
