Satay (or Sate) is a well-loved seasoned, skewered, and grilled meat across South East Asian countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. and even within ethnic regions within the country.

Our artisan classic Hainanese style satay forms the center piece of a complete and satisfying January 17th Meetup lunch meal. Bamboo sticks of skewered meat (pork / chicken) are grilled and served with spicy and sweet peanut dipping sauce with a dolly of pineapple paste. Side dishes of sliced raw onions, cucumbers and ketupat (compressed rice cakes).

Complimenting the satays are flavourfully marinated chicken wings skewered with bamboo sticks grilled over charcoal fire to perfection and dipped into spicy and tart chilli dipping sauce that adds the final flavour explosion in your mouth.

Singapore-style Hokkien Mee consists of yellow noodles with bee hoon simmered in a savory, umami prawn pork stock, accompanied with fresh prawns, squid, and pork belly.

**Special Bonus - The classic Air Mata Kucing or Sweet Monk Fruit Longan Dessert is a popular Malaysian thirst quencher, made popular by the stall at Petaling Street KL. It is believed to have cooling properties and is great for soothing sore throat and cough.
