Chaos-Driven Load Testing: From k6 Disruptor to RealWorld Insights with S. Singh

ABSTRACT: Traditional load testing validates performance under ideal conditions, but real systems fail under disruption. This session demonstrates how to combine k6 load testing with chaos engineering using xk6-disruptor to simulate failures such as pod restarts, network latency, and resource stress. Through practical examples, we’ll observe how applications behave under failure, analyze performance impact, and extract actionable insights to improve system resilience.
