Are they messages from the gods - as believed by the ancients, who dedicated sacred temples and rituals to the art of dreaming? Or are they simply psychological processes, as presented by great modern thinkers like Freud and Jung? In this salon we explore the world of dreams and how intentional dreamwork can help us uncover our inner worlds and integrate our waking experiences. Through a mix of discussion and practical exercises drawing on both ancient dream practices and modern science-based methods, you will gain a greater understanding of how to evoke, remember, and interpret your dreams - and the hidden messages they have been waiting to reveal. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
