Have you heard of Shape Up? It’s like Scrum’s edgy cousin who does everything a little differently. Shape Up promises more focus on the right problems, more empowered teams, and delivering more meaningful work on time, but does it really work?This month we hear from two people who use Shape Up at their companies. Iryna Melnyk from Octopus Deploy, and Jacob Duval from Runn, two very different orgs at different scales.
Where does Shape Up thrive? Where does it fall apart? Why does 37Signals insist on inventing everything from scratch?
They’ll cover the basics of Shape Up, then dig into some of the challenges they’ve had with the framework and the changes necessary for it to work well.
Whether you’re considering adopting Shape Up, currently using it, or looking to evolve your existing process, we hope you’ll walk away with a few valuable insights whether you’re a product manager, an engineer, a designer or a leader seeking to have more impact, improve delivery, and empower your teams.
