As well as covering the latest WordPress news, and having an open Q&A session for anyone with questions about WordPress, this month we will have a talk and discussion about AI.

The web and the open internet are standing at the edge of massive change. In this AI-focused special, we’ll explore how artificial intelligence — and especially Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) — could completely reshape how we build, design, and even think about websites.

We’ll get into the big, uncomfortable questions: What happens when anyone can summon a website from thin air? When design, code, and content are all handled by machines? Does WordPress still matter? Does anything we’ve been doing still matter? As AI barrels toward something that looks a lot like AGI, the web isn’t just changing — it’s up for grabs.

This is more than just a talk — it’s a conversation about the future of the web, the nature of work, and the tools we use every day. Whether you’re a developer, designer, content creator, marketer, or just curious about what’s coming — this session is for you.
