Join us for a networking, community, and learning session all about WordPress. We want to help foster the WordPress community in Chiang Mai, so if you use WordPress as a developer, designer or in your business, and want to meet others in WordPress you should attend our free meetup. Everyone is welcome.
WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MAY?
Talk 1: AI ↔ MCP ↔ WordPress
Is it actually possible to connect, edit, and build a WordPress website with Claude or ChatGPT? I've been testing this for weeks using MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools on my own sites — and the honest answer is: sort of.
- What's Working: Drafting and publishing blog posts through AI, hands-free.
- What's Not (Yet): Building actual landing pages and blocks — turns out every theme handles this differently, and there's no clean solution (I'm using GeneratePress, btw).
- A Practical Setup with WordPress' Abilities MCP: I'll show my actual setup and how to connect AI to Claude using various MCPs from GitHub
- The Wider Landscape: This space is still new since WP7.0 — I'll also touch on other MCP options and plugins out there (like Novamira and InstaWP's MCP) that I haven't personally tested yet, but are worth knowing about.

Talk 2: A/B Testing Tools
Ever wonder if that new button color or headline is actually working? I'll walk through setting up and running A/B experiments using the Accelerate Plugin by HumanMade.
