What we’re about
https://www.facebook.com/BangkokHiking/
This is a group for anyone interested in hiking in Thailand. All skill levels are welcome, but you should be physically active and able to do intermediate to moderately strenuous hikes. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. I would like to plan day trips/overnight trips from Bangkok on the weekends (especially holiday weekends) to explore the beautiful natural areas of Thailand. Anyone with experience or knowledge of Thailand's nature areas and an interest in the outdoors is encouraged to join!

- One of Phetchaburi’s most famous landmarks, Khao Wang (or “Palace Hill” as the locals call it), sits gracefully atop at 92-meter-high hill in the heart of the city. Built by King Rama IV in 1860, this stunning site once served as his summer palace. The entire compound is a beautiful blend of Thai, neoclassical Western, and Chinese architecture, featuring royal halls, palaces, temples, and other elegant buildings.
13.00: Visit Cafe and Sea Salt Farm
- Thailand’s sea salt farming, found in coastal provinces like Samut Sakhon and Phetchaburi, is best seen during the dry season (Nov–Apr) when seawater evaporates, leaving behind glistening salt fields. Rich in cultural significance, salt farming is celebrated through local festivals and markets.
