The Rise of Trauma-Informed Coaching
Details
Transformation does not occur only at the level of conscious thought. Many of the patterns clients seek to change are rooted in deeper layers of the psyche, shaped by memory, emotion, and the nervous system.
This session explores how psychedelic integration coaching supports clients in working beyond the conscious mind. Through a grounded, trauma-informed approach, it brings attention to how expanded states of awareness can be meaningfully integrated into lasting psychological and behavioural change.
Rather than focusing on the experience itself, the session highlights the importance of preparation, integration, and ethical coaching practice. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to support clients in translating profound internal experiences into sustainable growth, insight, and relational change.
Hosted by Fernando Hettiyadura, a Registered Eclectic Psychotherapist and Master Certified Coach (MCC) designated by the International Coaching Federation, with over two decades of professional experience supporting individuals and families.
His work integrates psychotherapy, coaching science, and somatic practices, offering a multidimensional approach to transformation. Fernando holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology, an MSc in Counselling Psychology, and a Postgraduate Certification in Ayurveda Psychology. He has also completed Medical Psychiatry coursework through Harvard Medical School and is currently a doctoral researcher pursuing a PhD in Psychology.
