Join us for a fascinating interactive experience exploring the birthplace of traditional Thai massage with a licensed massage therapist who has over 28 years of professional experience.
Rather than simply walking around one of Bangkok's most famous temples, we'll discover the history, philosophy and practical techniques behind Traditional Thai Massage while exploring the areas where this knowledge has been preserved for generations.

This is not a sightseeing tour or a formal massage course. Instead, it's a relaxed educational experience where you'll gain a much deeper understanding of one of Thailand's most important cultural traditions

· Location: Meet at the main entrance of Wat Pho, Bangkok
· Cost: ฿350 total (price includes all venue entry fee's)

Discover the Birthplace of Thai Massage
Explore Wat Pho while learning why it became the centre of traditional Thai medicine and massage, and how this knowledge has been passed down through generations.

✨ Understanding the Sen Lines
Learn about the ten primary Sen Sib (energy lines) that form the foundation of Traditional Thai Massage, what they represent, and how they're traditionally used to support different areas of the body.

🤲 Live Demonstrations
Watch an experienced therapist demonstrate authentic Thai massage techniques while explaining body positioning, pressure, movement and the principles behind each technique.

🧘 Optional Partner Practice
For those who would like to try some basic techniques, there will be an opportunity to practise simple pressure points with a partner under guidance. No previous experience is required, and participation is entirely optional.

Your host is a fully licensed massage therapist with over 28 years of professional experience, specialising in Traditional Thai Massage and Orthopaedic Massage.
Having studied and practised in Thailand, the United States, Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Paris, Hong Kong and Istanbul, they bring together international experience with a deep appreciation for the traditions that began here at Wat Pho.

Their passion is helping people understand not just how Thai massage works, but why.
