Unmasking in a new time zone. Many neurodivergent expats experience a quiet shift when moving abroad: the usual social rules change, and suddenly, your "weirdness" either disappears into the background noise of being a 'farang', or becomes impossible to ignore.

Topic for discussion: Why Can't I Just Do the Thing?

You know exactly what you need to do. You've known for days. The task isn't hard, you're not lazy, but still you can't make yourself start.
If that made your stomach drop, this one's for you. Executive function is the machinery that gets you from intention to action. Starting things. Switching between them. Remembering why you walked into the room. Guessing how long something takes. Knowing where to begin when everything feels equally on fire. For a lot of us, none of that runs on autopilot the way we're told it should.
We've all been handed the fixes. The planner. The app. The system that changed some influencer's life. Most of us have a graveyard of abandoned systems to prove it.
So this month we're skipping the productivity sermon. We want to talk about what executive dysfunction actually feels like from the inside, how much of it is skill versus shame, and what has genuinely helped you when the standard advice didn't.
Come as you are. Late is fine. We get it.

This is a supportive, judgment-free discussion where you're welcome to share your experiences, listen to others, or hopefully both. Whether your family has been a source of strength, struggle, or something in between, you're invited to join us for an evening of honest conversation and connection.

Who is this for?

  • Neurodivergent individuals: ADHD, autism, dyslexia, sensory processing differences (whether formally diagnosed, self-identified, or just starting to figure it out).
  • Allies: The friends, partners, and colleagues who love or work alongside us.

Who is this NOT for?

  • Networkers and Marketers: If you are coming to promote your business, hand out business cards, or find new clients, this isn't the room for you.
  • "Gurus" and Opportunists: This is a peer-to-peer community space. It is not a captive audience for life coaches, wellness influencers, or anyone pitching unsolicited advice, "cures," or paid programs.

What to expect:

  • Real Talk, Not Therapy: This isn't a clinical support group, just a genuine community connection.
  • Low Pressure: We keep things small and conversational.
  • Zero Masking Required: There is absolutely no pressure to perform, disclose more than you want to, or have your life figured out. Come exactly as you are.
