This Visakha Bucha, The Kind Circle invites you to learn about and experience one of the holiest days in Buddhism through Thai cultural immersion and connection.

What Is It About?
Visakha Bucha, also known internationally as Vesak, commemorates the three major events in the life of Siddhartha Gautama, the Lord Buddha: his birth, enlightenment, and passing into Nirvana. Held annually on the full moon of the sixth lunar month, it is a day of reflection, spiritual practices, ceremonies, and cultural celebrations observed by Buddhist communities across Thailand and around the world.

As we will be visiting sacred spaces, modest clothes that cover the shoulders and knees is required. You are welcome to join us from the beginning or participate in just the activities that interest you.
